Fishing Methods and Techniques in the Mar de Castilla-La Mancha

Fishing in the Mar de Castilla-La Mancha is mainly done by sight fishing and stalking. Moving carefully along the reservoir banks without being detected by the carp is essential so you can present your fly in exactly the right place. The most common techniques are nymph and streamer fishing, although dry-fly fishing is also possible, particularly during flying ant or beetle hatches. Every big carp you catch is a moment of pure excitement.
